Bring any device you’d like, and please feel free to ask about anything related to social media, the military and the internet, or personal safety for yourself or your child.

If you have a pre-teen or teenager, please bring them as well.

Meeting starts at 6pm in Beacon Mutual Insurance (one beacon center warwick - Jefferson Blvd to Kilvert St and beacon is straight ahead- park on left side of bldg and we enter through the patio area).

Alexandra Brown's BIO:  

Alexandra Brown is a cybersecurity senior consultant with the national cyber practice of Ernst and Young LLP.  She specializes is cybersecurity awareness and education, as well as personal and physical security awareness, the psychology of social engineering, and operations security program development.  Alex has over 10 years’ experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity awareness and education strategies in consumer products companies, military family services, the Department of Defense, the medical industry, national transportation carriers, and local and national broadcasting affiliates.

Alex is considered a premier subject matter resource within the U.S. Military community on the topic of Operations Security (OPSEC) and the social engineering of civilian personnel and military families.  She has assisted in the development and operation management of incident response plans and has also developed cybersecurity awareness materials for school districts.  Alex is OPSEC Program Manager certified by the Joint Information Operations Warfare Center (JIOWC) and the U.S. Army.
